Building On Earlier Shortcomings

The game comes off the heels of the advanced the last installment, launched in the past to a poor reception it found it hard to recover from.

"We probably would not be able to make and develop Battlefield 6 lacking the insights we had in the previous title," the manager explains to our team.

One of those insights was to engage players participating early, and the developers launched exclusive fan playtests not long ago.

The "feedback was incredibly encouraging," states Rebecka.

Another absent ingredient from the last game was a solo experience, which has been restored this time around.

The UK studio design director Fasahat "Fas" Salim is the one tasked with "ensuring those missions are as fun and compelling as can be for the gamers."

Despite claims that the scale of the title had created pressure for the various developers partnering globally to create the game, he is optimistic about the work.

"Working with varied cultures, distinct backgrounds, it's a really interesting atmosphere to be part of on a regular basis," he explains.

"The complete approach has been something new but additionally truly inspiring because we are working with individuals from internationally."

Regarding the expectation on the developers, the director says: "We experience demand but at the same time it's motivating.

"This is a major project. It's probably the biggest that the majority of the team have previously participated in."

New Developer Contributes Fresh View
