Vince Zampella, Dies in a California Traffic Collision
The co-creator of Call of Duty, the mind behind the wildly popular franchise Call of Duty, has tragically died in a car accident in California he was 55 years old.
The tragic news was verified by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, a game studio that he helped create.
The renowned game designer lost his life when his vehicle was involved in a crash and caught fire on a motorway in Los Angeles on Sunday, US media outlets report.
"We are facing a heartbreaking loss, and our hearts are with Vince's loved ones, his loved ones, and everyone impacted by his work," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts commented.
